Bourton-on-the-Water accommodation

Bourton-on-the-Water is known affectionately as the Venice of the Cotswolds. The River Windrush runs through the middle of the village, in landscaped setting and is spanned by several small but very attractive road and footbridges. There's a model village that is an exact 1:10 replica of the village and includes a model of the model village itself. You can visit the Cotswold Motor Museum (home of Brum). One of the main attractions is Birdland, an ornithological theme park, a collection of a wide variety of birds, from penguins through parrots to passerine (perching) birds, with regular bird-of-prey displays. Children can feed the fish.
